The braided rug has been extremely popular throughout the United States, particularly in the Mid Atlantic, North East and Mountain states for more than 100 years. While most people associate braided rugs with Colonial or rustic, mountain style homes, the trends have been changing. Braided rugs have become younger and more stylish with the advances in manufacturing and yarn selections. The Bottom Line

While the vast majority of braided rugs we see are classic rugs, well suited for colonial and rustic homes, we are no longer constrained by that standard.
